Terror threat very high in Kenya, Intelligence Report

Kenya is very likely to be attacked by terrorists from neighboring Somalia, intelligence reports and strategic intelligence analysis show.

There has been heightened activity in terror cells in Kenya and this signals emerging threats on targets.

Terrorists will target civilians and government; crowded places and government buildings besides security forces and their resources.

There is a possibility of US resources or Americans citizens in Kenya or anywhere in East Africa to be targets of terror attacks.

Police in the country are also likely to be targeted particularly when on duty besides terrorists targeting police stations and vehicles.

The terrorists may chose areas where terror attacks have not been conducted with the aim of proving they are capable of carrying out attacks anywhere and deeper in the country.
