SNA Seize IEDs in Mogadishu Sweep

SNA and NISA carried out a security operation in Somali’s capital Mogadishu in an effort to beef up security in the city.

The joint operation was carried out in several houses in Mogadishu’s Bondheere district, where large cache of weapons, including explosive materials believed to belong to Al-Shabaab fighters was seized.

According to security officials the operation was carried out following a tip-off from local residents and leading to a successful seizure of the explosives at a house near security ministry HQ in Mogadishu.
