Security agents have been lauded their effort in curbing terrorism in the country. Giving an example with Lamu County, cases and incidents of terror attacks have greatly reduced in the county.

According to Director of Operation Linda Boni, James Serian, calmness has been witnessed in the recent times in county including the other parts of the coastal region.

This reduction of terror incidents has been attributed by the efforts of the gallant soldiers conducting the Linda Boni Security operation in the County.

Serian noted that government security agents are still keen in ensuring that all Al-Shabaab elements/cell have flushed out from their hiding within the Lamu Boni forest and surroundings and are completely eliminated.

The operation that kicked off a year ago has recorded significant against terrorist elements and its expected top goes on for unspecified period of time.
