Police Launch Manhunt of Al-Shabaab Suspects at Large in Kwale

PatrolsPolice in Kwale have launched a manhunt of eight Al-Shabaab suspects who they say are at large.

According to the source, the eight militants are believed to be behind a series of killings witnessed in Diani.

County Commissioner Kutswa Olaka confirmed on the operation saying the suspects are behind several criminal/terror activities in the region.

At least 20 people have reportedly been killed. Olaka called on the Kwale residents to collaborate with security agents and not harbor criminals or terrorists.

Similarly, Lamu County Commissioner Joseph Kanyiri warned of villagers spying for Al-Shabaab saying they will be treated as terrorists.
