Over 900 Arrested in Turkish Forces Anti-terror Sweeps in 45 Provinces

Turkish forces conducted anti-terror raids across 45 provinces and arrested over 900 PKK suspects.

According to Turkey’s Interior Minister, the suspects are being held on terror charges and others on helping and abetting PKK terrorist’s activities including material and financial support.

Separately, Turkish police last week had conducted 213 anti-terror operations and arrested many suspects linked to the listed PKK terrorist group.

A Ministry statement noted that dozens of PKK terrorists have so far been killed in the operations.

The anti-terror operations have seen 24 PKK shelters uncovered plus weapons, ammunition and explosive materials seized.
