Over 20 Terrorists Arrested In Turkey For Links With Daesh And PKK

21 terror suspects were arrested in anti-terror campaign across Turkey as the authorities seek to weaken the spread of terror activities from the numerous terror groups purported to be active in the country.

Among the apprehended individuals are members of the PKK, Daesh terrorist that have been orchestrating attacks and infiltrating the administrative ranks. More than 1,200 people, including security force personnel and civilians, have lost their lives since the PKK (listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and EU) resumed its decades-old armed campaign in July 2015. Moreover, over 300 people have lost their lives in Daesh-claimed attacks in Turkey, where the terror organization has targeted civilians in suicide bombs, rocket and gun attacks.
