Norway to Help Kenya Fight Terror

Norway has pledged a closer partnership with Kenya in the fight against terrorism.

Speaking at Saba Saba when he officiated the opening of Amani Mashinani Youth Centre in Mombasa, Norwegian Ambassador to Kenya Victor Ronneberg affirmed of his country’s commitment in eliminating terrorists. He noted that his country shares a common vision with Kenya of a terror-free- society.

“We are eager to see that the security situation in the country in top notch for mutual development of the two nations”, Ronneberg said.

Amani Mashinani Youth Centre will oversee the rehabilitation of drug addicts in the county of Mombasa as well as nurture youth talents to avoid possibility of them being lured into the terror groups.
