Kenya Withdraws Troops from South Sudan, First 100 Soldiers Arrive at JKIA

kdfKenya started withdrawing its peacekeeping troops from the conflict stricken South Sudan.

The first batch of KDF soldiers pulled out of Juba Wednesday November 9, 2016.  and arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport –JKIA the same day.

KDF soldiers arrived at JKIA aboard Ocean Airlines plane with another batch of 100 more expected later today (Thursday).

According to KDF spokesman Lt-Col Paul Njuguna said the peacekeeping troops were based in Wahu, Juba.
