French Free to Visit Kenya, No Advisories Issued

The French government has made an about turn on its travel advisory on Kenya.

France has made it clear that French nationals can visit anywhere in Kenya but should avoid areas cited as prone to terror attacks.

France, Britain, and the US had issued travel warnings and instructed its nationals to leave Kenya for security fears.

Evacuation of foreign nationals was confirmed in Kenya leading to massive losses to hoteliers.

However this has changed with most countries reviewing their stand about Kenya.

Kenya has had a rocky relationship with the West since the new government was elected in power.
