Car Bomb Explosion Injures 4 in Mogadishu, Driver Arrested

Four people on Monday afternoon were injured when a car bomb detonated at Suq-bacad area in Yakhshid district in Benadir region.

According to a latest brief report by Somali National News Agency (SONNA), the attack would have been fatal it was not for the NISA Officers.

Security officials confirmed that NISA officers intercepted the vehicle arrested that driver and recovered some weapons.

However, before the fitted explosives could be diffused, the vehicle exploded injuring four people.

Spokesman of Benadir regional Administration, Abdifitah Omar Halane told SONNA that the victims were all civilians from around the area.
