At least 6 people have been reported dead in Jakarta, Indonesia in the early morning Thursday 14th January explosions and shootings.
According to reports coming in, 6 bombs went off in the Indonesian capital with heavy gunfire being heard in the early morning incident. According OSINT at least 14 gunmen and several suicide bombers are involved in the ongoing deadly attack.
No group has taken credit for the ongoing attack but the Islamic State has recently put Indonesia on the spotlight warning of a possible attack that was received with revamped security especially in the capital city.
Indonesian extremists have over time graduated from orchestrating attacks against foreigners and instead conducting attacks on domestic ‘enemies of Islam’.
