KDF Capture More Towns Beyond Kismayu for Strategic Factors

The Kenya army, Kenya Defense Forces plans to safeguard gains made in the war against terror in Somalia.
The Kenya military now threatens to take Jamane, another strategic town in Southern Somalia.
According to KDF to protect the hard won security and degrade the ability of the Al Shabaab to disrupt the region’s peace & stability is a priority.
Al-Shabaab have been poisoning water wells in what they term as war against the invading Kenyan forces leading to deaths of Somali people.
The need for more ground to monitor and further degrade logistical and militant capacity of the terrorists is becoming dire in some strategic sectors due to increased militant activity.
