The hype that government of Kenya has recruited and deployed this squad to engage in criminal activities such as cattle rustling and export of meat to Middle East, besides serving as escorts to minerals and arms smugglers to CAR poses a threat to Kenya’s national security and the regional security.
The ramifications of such careless assertions that are based on ethnic triangulations to procure a bias of isolation of the particular ethnic group; are grave.
Bloggers and other media resources careless assertions that the Kenya police is complicit in cattle rustling that affects different communities and countries, injures regional peace and security.
The existence of Ngoroko police force and the Kiambu mafia is a creation of conspiracy theories skewed to project members of a certain community particularly the Central Province as criminals and subsequently isolate them.
Kenya Police service is not a machinery for hire by any tribe, religion, or political class, rather available to serve the republic of Kenya.
Regardless of their failures in rapid execution of their duties in the past and problems in policy and administration, the Kenya Police Service force is composed of human beings that are fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters of millions of Kenya, hence deserve a decent reference.
