UPDF Mil Mi-24-Hinds Found in Mount Kenya Ranges by KDF Rescue Copters

Kenya defense forces have finally located of the missing Ugandan helicopters in the slopes of mount Kenya, Strategic Intelligence has confirmed.

Uganda Defense forces headquarters have verified/accounted all of its 4-Mil Mi-24-Hinds attack helicopters that got lost in Kenyan airspace on Sunday.

All troops and crew are safe and they total 28, UPDF has confirmed.

One helicopter crash-landed in forested and elephant ridden agricultural area of Kamweti in Kirinyaga county.

The other helicopter has been traced at Gathiuru forest =Time-zone Sunrise at 06:33 and Sunset at 18:39. Latitude. -0.05°, Longitude. 37.0833333° in Mount Kenya forest.

Gathiuru is near Nanyuki , about 10.2km, Temperature: 16°C / 60.8°F, Wind: 4.6km/h East/Northeast, Cloud: Sky Clear.

All crew/troops are reportedly safe
