7 Al-Shabaab Killed in Fierce Fighting in Somalia after Attack on SNA Base in Bay Region

Seven Al-Shabaab terrorists were killed on Saturday night after intense fighting between SNA government troops and the militants near Bay region in southwest Somalia.

According to local officials revealed that a number of soldiers from Somalia National Army also sustained injuries during an overnight gun battle with the Al-Qaida-linked militants.

Al-Shabaab militants staged attacks on the Somali National Army base prompting a counter-attack in which the terror group lost seven fighters and several others fleeing with gun injuries.

Assortment of weapons also recovered from the slain militants.
