Turkish Air Force has killed at least 6 PKK terrorists in an airstrike in northern Iraq. According to intelligence sources in Turkey’s Airforce, the neutralized terrorists were planning an attack on military outposts and bases in both Iraq and Turkey.
The airstrikes carried designated as counter-terrorism in nature was conducted in Kani Rash Town.
The PKK — listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU — resumed its armed campaign against Turkey in July 2015. The number of the neutralized terrorists adds to another 17 PKK jihadis killed in the first week of 2018 in the over 729 counterterrorism operations.
