44 ISIS Fighters, Turkish Soldier Killed in Clashes in Northern Syria

44 ISIS fighters were killed in a deadly clash with Turkish forces in northern Syria.

According to Turkish army statement and reported by Anadolu news agency, Turkish forces following on intelligence raided, ISIS hideouts killing 44 of their fighters.

 One Turkish soldier also was killed in the clashes after a mine detonated during a demining operation. Two other soldiers were wounded.

Open sources referencing Anadolu news agency indicates that ISIS were regrouping to conduct a major attack in region.

Turkish authorities announced that after it takes full control of al-Bab, operations will continue to drive IS from the city of al-Raqqa, the terror organizations main stronghold in Syria.
